The Grande Rue is a long commercial street in down town Port-au-Prince. Tucked away on the southern end of Grande Rue there are communities or artists. In one of these communities an artist named Guyodo has an atelier where he mentors the youth of his neighborhood. Guyodo has been making art from found objects for many years and is passing this craft along. His neighborhood is filled with art, or soon to be art, both from Guyodo and his prodigies or other members of this community who are making more traditional wood crafts.

In August of 2011 FotoKonbit partnered with Guyodo to produce a summer photo camp for the youth he mentors.
